About two weeks ago, I gave some info to the Temple Daily Telegram regarding announcing our engagement. The online form said they would contact us prior to publishing. We hadn’t heard anything, so we figured it wouldn’t come out that week. On Sunday, February 15th, I woke up to phone calls letting me know that it was in the paper!!

I didn’t have this realization until a week after the announcement came out, but the announcement coincided with the exact six year anniversary of our first date – our bike ride and picnic at Lions Park on February 15, 2003! I didn’t look at the calendar when I submitted the form to the Temple Daily Telegram. How did they know??? I didn’t even realize it when it first came out, but I’ll take it as a good sign

We Have Food!

We officially have food for the reception! We ended up going with Austin Catering. And, I was able to schedule a tasting for the weekend after Thanksgiving – when Jason will be in town! Who’s the coolest bride ever?!

Operation Stuff & Seal

Operation Stuff & Seal commenced this past weekend after the Texas-Oklahoma State football game. The father of the bride, Candis (MOH), and Alex (groomsman) helped to streamline the assembly of the save the date envelopes. They’re currently sitting on my dining room table awaiting further additions to be made to the website ☺. I’m hoping to get them out soon!
